Advanced Math + Hands-on Health Sciences

In this post online-school era, almost every student we see has some math gaps.  Our math program is completely individualized.  Every student takes a pre-test and we focus on the skills that that student needs.  From long-division, to fractions, to negative numbers, we will fill in those gaps as needed and then launch into pre-algebra and algebra if the kids are ready for it!

Hands-on health sciences will to focus on anatomy and health sciences.  Students will learn to peform CPR, learn first aid procedures, learn to do sutures (and practice on a variety of materials), and study the effects of environmental changes on micro-organisms.   And, we're going to take a second try at zebra fish husbandry to see if we can get a larger clutch of eggs to use to study cell division (our first attempt last year yielded only one observable egg, but it was a promising start!).
